SISTERSVILLE –The Sistersville Ferry Board will be hosting a Country Music Cruise from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 14.

As passengers ride downriver, award-winning disc jockey Doug “The Dougger” Hoffman will host the event by spinning recordings of favorite classic country tunes along with today’s modern country music.

The cruise includes hot dogs, snacks, drinks and dancing.

The Sistersville Ferry Board’s goal is to provide entertainment for the community while raising an awareness of the value of this historic vessel, one of only three ferries still operating on the entire length of the Ohio River.

Passengers are asked to bring their own chair. Proceeds from the cruise will go toward sustaining operation of the ferry for local residents and tourists.
