Fire departments to host gun bashes

TWO LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENTS will be hosting gun bashes this November.

Hopedale Fire Department will host a gun bash from 1-7 p.m. Nov. 11 at Hopedale Social Hall.

The first drawing will take place at 2 p.m., and a gun will be raffled off every 15 minutes during the event.

The gun raffle schedule is set as follows:

2 p.m. – Glock 48 9mm

2:15 p.m. – S&W Shield Plus 9mm

2:30 p.m. – Mossberg Patriot 450 BM w/scope

2:45 p.m. – Sig P365 9mm

3 p.m. – Remington 700 308WIN

3:15 p.m. – Henry Golden Boy 22LR

3:30 p.m. – Taurus GX4 9mm

3:45 p.m. – Springfield Hellcat 9mm

4 p.m. – Henry 44 mag

4:15 p.m. – Kel Tec PMR 30 22mag

4:30 p.m. – Great Lakes AR15 5.56

4:45 p.m. – Winchester XPR 350 Leg

5 p.m. – ATI Cavalry O/U 12ga

5:15 p.m. – Savage Stance 9mm

5:30 p.m. – Radical Arms AR 15 350 Leg

5:45 p.m. – CZ 712 Semi-Auto 12ga

6 p.m. – Glock 47 9mm

6:15 p.m. – Ruger American 450 BM

6:30 p.m. – Heritage Rough Rider 22/22mag

6:45 p.m. – Taurus 357 6″ Stainless Steel 7 shot 7.00 Rock Island 1911 45ACP

Along with the gun raffles, the event will feature a tool set raffle, 50/50 raffles, lottery trees and booze baskets.

Winners do not need to be present.

Hopedale Fire Department may substitute guns due to availability. Any unsold guns will become the property of Hopedale FD. All gun winners must meet legal criteria to claim their prize.

Guns must be picked up within 30 days of the raffle at Woodland Outdoor and Supply at 79550 Freeport-Tippecanoe Road, Tippecanoe.

Hopedale Social Hall is located at 103 Firehouse Lane, Hopedale.

All attendees must purchase tickets, which include food, drink and a chance to win any of the guns. Tickets can be purchased from any Hopedale Fire Department member or online at hopedalefire.com.

Barton Volunteer Fire Department will host its second annual gun bash on Nov. 18 at the Homestead Event Center. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m., and drawings will be from 5-9 p.m.

The Homestead Event Center is located at 52325 Buena Vista Drive, St. Clairsville.

Tickets can be purchased by contacting any member. Tickets include food and drinks and an entry into the 16 gun raffles and cash raffle. The event is only open to ages 18 and up and will also feature a cash bar.
