The Barnesville Water Department issued a precautionary boil advisory on Wednesday morning due to waterline repairs for all service connections on East Main Street between Henderson Street and Warren Avenue and any other locations experiencing a loss in pressure.

This boil advisory will remain in effect for 48 hours once water service is restored. Water should be vigorously boiled for at least one minute before human consumption or dental hygiene use. Residents may also notice discoloration and should be cautious with laundry.
