NEFFS — Five buildings were damaged Tuesday afternoon in a fire that struck Trigg Construction and Home Improvement.
Neffs Fire Chief Mike Knowlton said the blaze completely destroyed one building, and that others had heat, fire and water damage as a result. They buildings were used for storage of materials and vehicles. The separate office building did not sustain any damage, and no injuries were reported.
The fire was reported around 3 p.m. by Trigg staff members. Firefighters from Neffs, OR&W Fire District and Cumberland Trail Fire District remained at the scene at 5 p.m., still dousing hot spots.
