COLERAIN — The Belmont County Sheriff’s Department is asking for assistance in identifying a suspect in a local robbery.

According to the department, the suspect ran into the Dollar General in Colerain on Friday evening, stole the cash drawer, and left the building. The suspect then ran west to a vehicle and drove away.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s department, the suspect was thin and wearing a black hoodie, black gloves, a black mask and black tennis shoes.
