The American Heart Association celebrates ‘Wonderland’ at Saturday’s Ohio Valley Heart Ball

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The American Heart Association is partnering with local community leaders this weekend for the return of the Ohio Valley Heart Ball — “Wonderland” — happening Saturday at the Belmont Hills Country Club. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Funds raised from the Heart Ball will help fight two of the top killers of Americans — heart disease and stroke. Continuing as Heart Ball co-chairs are John and Melissa Rataiczak.

“We are so excited to see the Ohio Valley once again come together to celebrate and to help raise funds for our mission in the region,” said Lauren Thomas, the American Heart Association’s development director. “With this year being the centennial celebration of the American Heart Association, we are so happy to bring the Ohio Valley together to bring our mission to life in the region!”

The Heart Ball will feature silent auctions, food offerings and live music from the K-Street Band. The event has already sold out, so tickets are no longer available.
