BARNESVILLE – Heavy rain overnight and throughout Tuesday morning led to some local roads flooding, prompting schools to dismiss students early.

In Belmont County, Martins Ferry, St. Clairsville, Union Local and Barnesville schools are dismissing students early with St. Clairsville and Barnesville also canceling all practices.

In addition, Ohio 148 and Ohio 256 are closed in both directions due to high water.
