Martins Ferry employee arrested at athletic event
MARTINS FERRY — Martins Ferry City Schools officials are investigating an incident where a district employee was arrested at a junior high athletic event.
According to a news release by Martins Ferry Schools Superintendent Jim Fogle, the incident occurred Monday during an event at Cambridge City School District. Those who were participating in the event were safe and students were transported home by parents in attendance.
Any findings of misconduct will be handled according to Martins Ferry Schools policy, according to the release.
