Barnesville council honors Shamrock cheerleaders

BARNESVILLE — Village officials on Monday honored the Barnesville Shamrocks cheerleaders for their recent accomplishments.
Mayor Jake Hershberger issued a proclamation to honor the squad and listed its many recent accomplishments, which included the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference AAA Championship, as well as overall traditional grand champion, first place in traditional medium non-building and game day non-building at the Ohio Athletic Committee State Championships, and second place in game day and third place in traditional at the Universal Cheerleaders Association National High School Cheerleading Championships.
“The village of Barnesville congratulates our Shamrock cheerleaders for their achievements,” Hershberger concluded.
