Former Shadyside councilman to stand trial in August on menacing by stalking charge
ST. CLAIRSVILLE – Former Shadyside Village Council member Nick Ferrelli waived his right to a speedy trial on Thursday morning and will face a jury on Aug. 18.
Ferrelli appeared in Belmont County Eastern Division Court on Thursday before Judge David Trouten. He is charged with menacing by stalking in connection with a village employee. Trouten originally planned to schedule his trial for July 28, but due to a scheduling conflict, it was set for 8 a.m. Aug. 18 in Eastern Division Court.
