St. C. parade due to hit the streets Sunday

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The annual St. Clairsville Christmas Parade presented by the St. Clairsville Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by WVU Medicine will kick off Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

“We are so excited for this year’s Christmas Parade in St. Clairsville. The city and the community have been so incredibly supportive, and their enthusiasm makes this event so special. We can’t wait to bring another wonderful holiday celebration to our little “Hallmark” town,” executive director Lisa Kindler said.

More than 1,500 participants, 87 units, 27 volunteers and eight performing acts will be making their way through the city.

The St. Clairsville High School Varsity Cheerleading Squad will be leading the parade that starts at the high school. Santa will close out the parade with Cumberland Trail Fire District which is sponsored by Gold Khourey & Turak.

WesBanco Bank, Bill’s Towing, St. Clair Building Center, and River Front Motors will also be sponsoring the parade.

“You can watch live with clips from the light up night starting at 2:30 p.m. on WTRF/My Ohio Valley or WTRF.com and a rebroadcast will be on WTRF/CSB on Christmas morning at 5:30 a.m.,” Kindler said.
