Zanesville Man Killed In Belmont County Vehicle Crash
A Zaneville man was killed Wednesday in a one-car crash on Interstate 70 in Belmont County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Thomas M. Littick, 60, died in a crash that occurred around 12:48 p.m. Wednesday near mile marker 202 in Kirkwood Township in Belmont County. According to OSHP, Littick was driving a 2012 Kia Optima east on I-70 when it traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment. The car stopped in a grassy area south of the interstate.
Littick was taken to WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. OSHP said he was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Responding agencies included Barnesville Fire/EMS, Bethesda EMS, Fairview VFD, Mount Pleasant VFD and Bradens A1 Towing.
The crash remains under investigation.
