At 10:47 p.m. Sunday, a caller requested a welfare check on his mother at the Utica RV Park on Bond Drive in Belmont. A deputy responded and made contact with the female. Everything was good, the report stated.

At 6:01 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to an address in St. Clairsville after a caller reported that a juvenile female needed a ride to her home in Wheeling. Contact was made with the juvenile’s mother, and arrangements were made with Wheeling Police to get her home. Wheeling Police were to meet a deputy across from Abbey’s on Wheeling Island. However, Wheeling Police canceled, stating that they would not send anyone because they could not reach the juvenile’s mother by phone. A deputy from Belmont County took the juvenile to her residence and made contact with her mother.

At 5:33 p.m. Sunday, a caller from Martins Ferry reported that her son ran away from church. Martins Ferry Police located the child and released him to her, then the child became unruly – screaming and cussing at the mother, and threatening to run away. The caller requested a deputy. Officers responded and took the boy to the Sargus Juvenile Detention Center

At 5:35 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on OK Road in Glencoe reported that a neighbor stole her identity and her deceased husband’s wallet. The sheriff’s office has an extensive history with this female, who has known mental issues, according to the report. A deputy responded and reported that the female was OK. She declined a mental health evaluation.

At 5:08 p.m. Sunday, a deputy responded to the area of Valley Pool & Spa on Valley Frontage Road in St. Clairsville for a report of a male in the parking lot who was on the ground flailing around. According to the responding officer, the male had a back spasm and was just stretching. All was fine.

At 2:25 p.m. Sunday, a complainant from Lamberts Hollow Road in Bridgeport came to the station to report that his motorcycle was struck while it was parked at the Ohio Valley mall near Coaches. A deputy responded and was to follow up with the mall to see if video footage could be obtained.

At 1:27 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Main Street in Belmont reported that her vehicle was struck at a location outside of Kroger on Valley Plaza Drive in St. Clairsville. A deputy responded and gathered information for an accident report.

At 12:08 p.m. Sunday, a caller requested a welfare check on her juvenile daughter at an address in Holloway. A deputy responded. The caller reported that Child Protective Services placed the child with her and that there will be a safety plan in place on Monday. The deputy spoke with the CPS worker, who confirmed this. The child was OK.

At 2:03 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Kaczmarek Road in Flushing reported ongoing neighbor issues.

At 1:09 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a report of a disturbance at an address on Center Street in Holloway. A deputy requested Child Protective Services. Officers spoke with all parties separately. Nothing criminal took place, and all children were to remain where they were, according to the report.

At 7:43 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to an address on Johnson Lane in Flushing for a welfare check on a male. Bethesda Police also responded. A male was convinced to go to the hospital, according to the report. Flushing EMS transported him to WVU Medicine Reynolds Memorial Hospital.

At 12:26 p.m. Sunday, central dispatch reported that a young male was in a vehicle in the parking lot at Sheetz on Addie Way in St. Clairsville yelling through a megaphone. St. Clairsville Police advised they were close and would check it out. Police said the individual left the parking lot prior to their arrival.
