— 11:32 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a suspicious vehicle near the VA Primary Care Clinic on Mall Ring Road in St. Clairsville. An officer responded and reported that a male was there working on the vehicle.

— 11 p.m. Wednesday, multiple 911 calls were received from an address on Winding Hill Road in Bellaire. There was “no voice contact,” according to the report. 11:14 p.m., an officer reported that the female was fine but was having trouble with her smartwatch.

— 8:01 p.m. Wednesday, a 911 call with an open line was received from an address on Commercial Drive in Bridgeport. Contact was made with a nurse, and there was no emergency, according to the report.

— 7:28 p.m. Wednesday, a caller from the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported an individual walking on Interstate 70 west near mile marker 214 in Richland Township. A deputy responded. The individual was looking for a bumper from an accident that occurred the previous day. They were told to stay off the highway.

— 7:18 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to Epworth Park on North Main Street in Bethesda for a report of kids vandalizing the park. Units did not locate any suspects, the report indicated.

— 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, a sergeant on a traffic stop on Hammond Road near Belco Works in Richland Township issued a warning to a motorist for a stop sign violation.

— 5:49 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy on a traffic stop on the Ohio 331 overpass in Richland Township issued a warning to a motorist for failure to yield and driving left of center.

— 5:43 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy was at an address on National Road in Bethesda for a truck fire. The owner of the truck reported that the vehicle broke down May 9 and was towed to that location while the owner waited to get it into a shop. The vehicle was last seen at 5 p.m. when the owner locked up the yard where the truck was stored. Photographs of what remained of the truck were taken, along with additional information for a report.

— 2:37 p.m. Wednesday, an officer responded to a location in St. Clairsville on a request for a welfare check on children. A juvenile had reportedly called their father and told him that their mother was drinking, the report indicated.

— 9:29 a.m. Wednesday, a caller requested a welfare check on her niece and nephews at an address in Bethesda. The caller stated that her mother already had called Child Protective Services and filed a report. An officer went to perform a welfare check on the children, but they were at school.

— 8:12 a.m. Wednesday, a deputy responded to the Pilot Travel Center on Belmont-Morristown Road for a report of a tow truck struck by another vehicle. Information was taken for a crash report.

— 11:13 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported that her ex-boyfriend has been making threats via text to cause a scene and get her kicked out of her apartment. The male was outside the apartment pounding on the door, according to the report. An officer responded, but the male was gone prior to the arrival of deputies.

— 9:19 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to an address in Martins Ferry for a report of a 10-year-old male hitting his mother and putting holes in the walls. The child was autistic, according to the report. He calmed down and went to bed, according to the report, which stated that the mother was following up with case workers.

— 8:47 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from an address on Key-Bellaire Road in Bellaire reported that she heard a gunshot when she went home and believed that her boyfriend shot himself. A second call was received from another female confirming that he shot himself. Emergency medical service personnel responded. The male was still breathing and had a pulse, according to the report. One firearm was recovered.

— 7:37 p.m. Tuesday, units responded to Boscov’s at the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville for a report of a shoplifter in the office. Information was taken for a report.

— 7:25 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to a location on Sand Hill Road in Bellaire for a 911 hangup call. According to the deputy, this was no domestic — just a family argument.

— 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to Riesbeck’s on National Road in Bridgeport for a report of a shoplifter. Information was taken for a report.

— 6:11 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to an address in Bridgeport for a report of a juvenile acting up and breaking stuff. The juvenile was returned to a parent, the report stated.

— 6:08 p.m. Tuesday, an officer responded to an address on Beech Spring Road in Martins Ferry after a caller stated that a male came to her residence and threatened to burn it down, then exposed himself. A written statement was obtained.

— 4:06 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to an address on Meadow Avenue in St. Clairsville for a domestic complaint. This was a disagreement between a caller and her husband. Richland Township units were at this location earlier, according to the report. Officers reported that nothing significant was happening and all parties involved were informed what they needed to do.

— 2:56 p.m. Tuesday, an officer on a traffic stop with a Martins Ferry Police unit at Aetna Street in Martins Ferry detained one male. Nothing was found after consent to search the vehicle was granted, the report stated. The owner of the vehicle was issued a warning for an equipment violation. Destin Jakob Eugene Coe was taken to the Belmont County Jail and was booked on a probation violation charge.

— 12:56 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to a location in Dysart Woods for a report of a fight. Individuals were located, but there was no fight there. The report indicated that the caller was to blame for the misunderstanding.

— 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, a sergeant was on location at an address on Key-Bellaire Road in Richland Township for a report of two gates stolen from a property.

— noon Tuesday, a deputy along with units from the Shadyside Police Department responded to an address on Wegee Road in Shadyside to perform a well-being check on a male. The male left for work prior to their arrival, the report indicated. At 1:30 p.m., the male called the sheriff’s office, and all was well.

— 10:49 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Mall Ring Road in St. Clairsville near Candlewood Suites issued a warning to a driver for following too closely and driving outside of marked lanes.

— 9:44 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy was with emergency medical service personnel at the Belmont County Courthouse on Main Street in St. Clairsville where a female was reportedly having a heart attack. She was transported to WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital.

— 11:51 p.m. Monday, a deputy responded to Barton Road in Barton for a report of a commercial vehicle with Indiana plates that had jackknifed.

— 10:27 p.m. Monday, a caller requested a well check on a couple at an address on Liddle Road in Jacobsburg. A caller was on the phone with the male at that address when he became panicked and irrational, according to the report. A family member also arrived on the scene. The female was going with the male to Trinity Hospital in St. Clairsville.

— 9:36 p.m. Monday, an officer was out with a suspicious person on Crescent Road near Posocco Drive in St. Clairsville. One female was taken to another address on Crescent Road.

— 7:35 p.m. Monday, a 911 hangup call was received from an address on Belmont-Centerville Road in Belmont. A caller had requested law enforcement, then the line disconnected. Two callback attempts went to voicemail. An officer responded and reported that this was a verbal incident. A female left before the officer arrived.

— 7:05 p.m. Monday, a caller reported that he was attacked by five individuals who came from a vehicle at an address on Beech Street in Powhatan Point. The homeowner at the address called and stated that the male was not supposed to be there, but kept showing up. The caller believed that the male had mental health issues. An officer reported that there was no assault, just a civil matter.

— 4:39 p.m. Monday, a caller reported that a female was at an address on Meadow Avenue in St. Clairsville and she was not supposed to be there. A deputy responded and transported the female to an address on Carlisle Street in Martins Ferry.

— 4:02 p.m. Monday, a sergeant observed a four wheeler traveling at a high rate of speed on National Road in Morristown. He checked up the road but had no further contact.

— 3:25 p.m. Monday, a deputy was at an address on Harrison Street in Bellaire serving an eviction notice.

— 2:40 p.m. Monday, a sergeant took information from a complainant from an address on Pipe Creek Road in Jacobsburg where items were reportedly taken from a garage.

— 2:30 p.m. Monday, a deputy responded to an address in Union Township in response to a call about a struggle over a cell phone. A father and his juvenile daughter were involved. The daughter was going to her grandmother’s house. Parties were separated. No charges were filed.

— 2:19 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to an address on Pike Street in Maynard to check on a caller’s father who was reportedly making threats. Units made contact with the male, and mental health representatives from Coleman’s pink-slipped him, according to the report. He was transported to the hospital by EMS.

— 7:23 p.m. Monday, a caller who worked for an electric contractor reported that a work vehicle was stolen from an address on Winding Hill Road in Bellaire. This was a follow-up from a previous incident from Ogilbee Road, according to the report.

— 4:11 a.m. Monday, a caller from Ogilbee Road in Jacobsburg reported that there was a vehicle on fire near his residence. The fire department requested the sheriff’s office, as they believed it to be suspicious. The vehicle reportedly had Virginia plates.

— 12:06 a.m. Monday, an officer on a traffic stop on South Marietta Street in St. Clairsville issued a warning to an Indiana motorist for improper backing and a stop sign violation.

— 12:01 a.m. Monday, an officer responded to the Belmont County Jail on Hammond Road in St. Clairsville for a report of an assault.

— 11:43 p.m. Sunday, an officer on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 eastbound near mile marker 220 issued a warning for driving without headlights.

— 11:24 p.m. Sunday, an officer on a traffic stop on South Marietta Street in St. Clairsville reported that consent to search the vehicle was granted, but nothing was found during the search. A warning was issued to an Ohio motorist for failure to yield and improper display.

— 8:42 p.m. Sunday, a deputy responded to an address on Penn Lane in St. Clairsville to assist St. Clairsville Police with a domestic situation.

— 7:30 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported people riding dirt bikes on his property on Flushing Northeast Road in Flushing. A deputy responded and spoke with all parties. Everything was OK, according to the report.

— 7:15 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on National Road in Belmont reported his 87-year-old mother got combative with him and left the residence. Officers responded. The caller was referred to CARES. The nature of the incident was listed as a missing person.

— 4:54 p.m. Sunday, an officer was out with a disabled vehicle on Interstate 70 near mile marker 211 in St. Clairsville. The vehicle had a flat tire. However, the plates on the car came back to another vehicle. According to the report, the car was just purchased, and the owner was awaiting a new title. A friend was en route to help them change the tire, the report stated.

— 4:25 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported an abandoned vehicle with West Virginia plates sitting near his home on Reservoir Road in St. Clairsville. The vehicle was not damaged, but the caller was concerned about it being left there for too long. A 48-hour tow notice was placed on the vehicle, according to the report.

— 3:39 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Oak Street in Bethesda reported that his neighbor was not cleaning up ashes she dumped on their property line. A deputy responded. The caller was referred to the village of Bethesda for this matter since he resides within the corporation limits.

— 12:05 a.m. Sunday, a caller from an address in Martins Ferry reported that she could hear juveniles yelling. Although she was unable to see anyone outside, the complainant stated that a young male was yelling, “stop it, you’re hurting my arm!” Child protective services was contacted, the report indicated.
