— At 6:53 p.m. Monday, a deputy accompanied one male prisoner from the Belmont County Jail to WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital. The prisoner was having chest pains. At 11:56 p.m., officers left the hospital with the prisoner en route back to the jail.
— At 10:43 p.m. Monday, a deputy was out with an occupied disabled vehicle with West Virginia plates on Ohio 7 near Bellaire.
— At 9:30 p.m. Monday, a 15-year-old caller from Flushing stated that his stepdad put his hands on his neck. The caller was in his bedroom, and the stepdad and mother were upstairs arguing, according to the report. An officer responded. The male stayed at the residence, and other family members went to an address in Shadyside. The male stated that the incident was a disciplinary action.
— At 4:44 p.m. Monday, officers were flagged down on Slope Creek Road in Barnesville and were told that someone was breaking into a residence. According to the officers, no one broke into the residence. They were unable to identify the person who was trespassing on the property.
— At 4:19 p.m. Monday, a deputy was out on National Road near Riesbeck’s in Bridgeport for a single-vehicle accident with property damage only after a vehicle struck a pothole.
— At 3:36 p.m. Monday, units were out at an address on Cline Road in Barnesville for a report of domestic trouble. A couple was reportedly fighting about getting belongings.
— At 2:31 p.m. Monday, deputies were out at an address on Negus Road in Colerain for a report of a family argument in the yard.
— At 1:07 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to a location on Patterson Hill Road in Bellaire after a caller reported that a neighbor was yelling at her to come outside and fight. According to an officer, parties were to stay separated from each other and were getting temporary protection orders.
— At 12:51 p.m. Monday, a deputy responded to the scene of a structure fire at an address on East Main Street in Belmont after the call was reported by 911 dispatch.
— At 11:41 p.m. Monday, a sergeant was out at Walmart on Valley Plaza Drive in St. Clairsville for a report of a shoplifter in the store. The male suspect left the store and was walking toward Eat’n Park. Items were recovered in the parking lot, according to the report. A vehicle was to be towed by Walmart; however, the owner showed up and took back the car before the tow truck arrived.
— At 11:28 a.m. Monday, deputies responded to America’s Best Value Inn on National Road in St. Clairsville for a report of a man having mental health issues. The male was transported to WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital.
— At 9:29 a.m. Monday, a caller complained of a neighbor’s cow in his back yard on Crozier Ridge Road in Shadyside.
— At 2:32 a.m. Monday, a deputy was out on North Main Street in Bethesda speaking with two juveniles on electric scooters. They were advised to head home and that it was past curfew.
— At 1:33 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a semi truck in a ravine near Love’s Travel Center on Reco Road in Morristown. Deputies were dispatched, and a wrecker arrived. There was property damage only. The Ohio State Highway Patrol handled the crash.
