BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT

— 11:48 p.m., an officer responded to an address on Phillips Road in Fairpoint for a reported fight.
— 10:24 p.m., a caller reported that a suspicious female approached her vehicle on Valley Plaza Drive in St. Clairsville and harassed her. Officers responded and located the suspect near Anytime Fitness. The caller declined to pursue charges.
— 9:30 p.m., a caller reported a break-in at Lansing Limited on Commercial Drive in Bridgeport. Officers responded and collected information for a report.
— 9:19 p.m., a caller from Hawthorne Suites on National Road in St. Clairsville reported suspicious people near a dumpster outside the hotel. A deputy responded, but the individuals left before arrival.
— 8:52 p.m., a deputy responded to an address on Flushing-Holloway Road in Flushing to conduct a welfare check at the request of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. The subject was reported to be OK.
— 7:12 p.m., a caller from Belmont-Centerville Road reported her husband would not leave her alone. An officer spoke with all parties. No physical incident occurred, and the female left the residence for the night.
— 7:08 p.m., a caller reported a female experiencing a mental health crisis at a residence on Commercial Drive in Bridgeport. An officer responded, spoke with the female and determined she was OK. Information on available support services was provided.
— 6:49 p.m., a caller reported someone shot out a garage window at an address on Ferry Landing Road in Shadyside. Information was taken for a vandalism report.
— 6:56 p.m., a caller reported juveniles drinking at the swimming hole on Wegee Creek across from the railroad tracks in Shadyside. An officer responded but found no one in the area.
— 6:31 p.m., an officer responded to a property damage crash on Valley Plaza Drive near Sam’s Club in St. Clairsville. A report was taken.
— 2:31 p.m., a caller from Applebee’s on Valley Frontage Road in St. Clairsville reported a disruptive customer. The manager attempted to resolve the situation by asking the woman to leave but also requested 911 assistance. No weapons were reported and no physical altercation occurred. The manager said the female left before officers arrived and was advised she could be trespassed if she returned.
— 12:39 p.m., an officer responded to Belmont-Morristown Road after a tractor-trailer struck a Dollar General sign. A property damage crash report was taken.
— 1:17 p.m., a caller from Old State Route 147 in Bethesda reported receiving threatening phone calls from someone claiming they wanted to fight him. The caller said he has gone to locations to meet the individual, but no one has shown up. He requested the incident be documented with the sheriff’s office.
— 11:22 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 70 eastbound near mile marker 216 in St. Clairsville and issued a warning for failure to maintain an assured clear distance.
— 10:39 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious person walking on Belmont-Morristown Road near Union Local Schools and a Dollar General. The caller said the man appeared to be struggling and may have been experiencing a medical emergency. Deputies responded, and the man was given food and transported to the Ohio-West Virginia state line.
— 8:13 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle with blown tires near Center Street in Holloway. An officer responded and found the vehicle was parked in a driveway and was not obstructing traffic.
— 5:13 a.m., a caller from Criswill Road in St. Clairsville reported being awakened when his 17-year-old son was dropped off after allegedly being assaulted by four males. The caller said he was going to Sheetz to look for the individuals and requested deputies meet him there. Deputies responded and gathered information for a report. Parents or guardians were contacted regarding juveniles involved.
