— 11:01 p.m. Tuesday, deputies assisted St. Clairsville Police in clearing a rental house on East Main Street in St. Clairsville. Nothing was found, the report stated.

— 10:54 p.m. Tuesday, a caller in the parking lot of an address on East Lawn Avenue in St. Clairsville reported having issues with her boyfriend. A deputy assisted St. Clairsville Police on the call. The deputy transported the female to Crescent Road and Barton-Crescent Road, where she got into her boyfriend’s vehicle, according to the report.

— 8:12 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from an address on Poland Road in Flushing requested assistance removing a snake from his home. An officer responded, and the snake was removed.

— 7:17 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from A1 Fuel Mart on High Ridge Road in St. Clairsville reported a homeless person in front of the store who would not leave. Deputies responded and took the female to the area of the Social Security office in Wheeling.

— 6:34 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from an address on West Cross Street in Morristown reported a male on her porch. The male lives at a nearby mental health facility, she said. An officer responded, and the male was returned to his home, according to the report.At 9:39 p.m. Sunday, a caller from Pleasant Grove in Colerain reported that a German Shepherd was in the roadway. An officer eventually contacted a representative of the animal shelter, the report indicated.

— 9:35 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Beall Street in Bridgeport reported someone entered their home through a window and stole items and cash. Officers responded to a burglary report.

— 8:35 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Toad Hollow Road in Bellaire reported an individual was making threats. An officer responded. This was an argument over a vehicle, according to the report, which stated both parties were advised to separate for the night. The caller did not want any action taken by law enforcement. He left the residence.

— 8:07 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Meadow Avenue in St. Clairsville reported an argument with another male over ownership of a truck. Deputies responded and deemed the situation a civil matter.

— 7:25 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Church Street in Barton reported trouble with a neighbor. A deputy listed the nature of the incident as threats or harassment.

— 7:14 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a male was at his residence on Belmont-Morristown Road in Belmont and was yelling. Deputies responded. No threats were made and no violence was reported. The parties were to remain separated.

— 6:19 p.m. Sunday, a caller from Pine Lake Trailer Court reported her landlord dropped off items at her property and stole a door frame that had been left for scrap. An officer advised the caller it was a civil issue and advised her to seek a protection order.

— 6:08 p.m. Sunday, a caller requested a welfare check on his parents. Deputies responded to an address on Nixon Run Road in Martins Ferry and spoke with both parties. All appeared to be well. They denied needing emergency medical service. A deputy spoke with the caller by phone while on scene.

— 5:07 p.m. Sunday, the Ohio State Highway Patrol requested a deputy respond to Ramsey Ridge Road in Jacobsburg for a female who was located in her vehicle and said she had been involved in an altercation. A deputy responded. The female was uncooperative, according to the report, and was advised how to proceed if she chose to do so.

— 4:09 p.m. Sunday, a caller requested a welfare check on a female who left the Country Club Retirement Center on Conno Mara Drive in Pultney Township against medical advice with a PICC line still in place. Deputies responded to her address on Patterson Hill Road. Officers made contact with her and found all was well. She planned to go to the hospital the next day.

— 3:55 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a male was speeding on a dirt bike on Hall Street in Maynard. A deputy responded but did not locate him. The caller later reported the dirt bike was back in the area. A deputy again patrolled the area but was unable to locate the rider.

— 3:26 p.m. Sunday, the Ohio State Highway Patrol requested assistance escorting veterans’ remains to the eastern county line on Interstate 70. A deputy responded and assisted.

— 12:54 p.m. Sunday, officers transported an inmate from the Belmont County Jail to WVU Medicine Barnesville Hospital for testing.

— 12:17 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an address on Dorsch Road in Martins Ferry after a caller reported a male entered the house, took his hedge trimmers and was cutting a neighbor’s hedges. The male was placed in handcuffs. Officers were unable to contact his probation officer and released him. The hedge trimmers were returned to their owner.

— 10:31 a.m. Sunday, a caller from the ResCare Group Home on Magee Road in St. Clairsville reported a male suffering from schizophrenia had left the residence. Units responded and information was taken for a report. Deputies searched the area and found him about 50 yards behind the residence in a heavily wooded area, stuck in mud beneath a log, according to the report. He was transported by Cumberland Trail Fire District to the hospital for evaluation. A ResCare employee accompanied him.

— 8:24 a.m. Sunday, a complainant came to the station to report his girlfriend was missing. Officers noted they had dealt with the situation several times and had previously conducted welfare checks. Units responded to an address on Holtzworth Road in Flushing and made contact with the female. All was well. She was ending the relationship and did not want to speak with the complainant, according to the report.

— 2:46 a.m. Sunday, officers conducting a traffic stop on Crescent Road in St. Clairsville issued a citation for speeding.

— 2:35 a.m. Sunday, units responded to an address on Morristown-Flushing Road in Flushing after receiving a 911 hang-up call. Upon callback, a female was upset but said everything was fine. The report stated it was an argument between a father and daughter, and the daughter left with her boyfriend. All was deemed OK.

— 11:44 p.m. Saturday, a Barnesville police officer reported he was fighting with a female. A deputy responded, but the female was already in custody when he arrived at the address on South Chestnut Street in Barnesville.

— 10:18 p.m. Saturday, a caller from Water Tower Road in Belmont reported neighbors were setting off fireworks. An officer responded and spoke with the neighbors, who said they were wrapping things up.

— 7:46 p.m. Saturday, a caller from an address on Lake Road in Belmont reported hearing a large explosion in the area. An officer responded but found nothing.

— 1:19 a.m. Saturday, an officer responded to Fox Run on Traco Drive in St. Clairsville for a report that three juveniles escaped the facility when a fire alarm sounded. They were reportedly in a white van with the keys inside, according to the report.

— 7:38 p.m. Friday, several units responded to Fox Run on Traco Drive in St. Clairsville for a report of a fire alarm activation with juveniles running from the facility. Units from the St. Clairsville Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol also responded.
