— 6:04 p.m. — Officers were out on the 1100 block of North Seventh Street regarding a warrant service. Officers took a male into custody and transported him to the Belmont County Jail.
— 8 p.m. — A traffic stop was initiated on State Route 7 near Hanover Street. The driver was identified as a female. A verbal warning was issued for expired registration.

— 11:28 p.m. — A female came to the station to speak with an officer regarding the welfare of a juvenile. Officers made contact on the 700 block of West Vine Street and found everything was fine.
— 11:53 p.m. — Officers were out with a disabled vehicle on Ohio Avenue near State Route 7. Officers were able to assist the vehicle, and it continued on its way.

— 10:14 p.m. — A deputy was out at an address on Hunter Road in Bethesda assisting the Ohio State Highway Patrol with an injury crash involving a horse and buggy.
— 9:10 p.m. — A deputy responded to Boscov’s at the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville after loss prevention personnel reported they could not get in touch with a juvenile shoplifter’s guardian. The officer contacted the guardian to pick up the juvenile. Loss prevention was to follow up with the prosecutor’s office.
— 8:40 p.m. — A caller from an address on Skyline Drive in Shadyside reported she was hit by her father-in-law and wanted to see an officer. Units responded. The complainant did not want to press charges but wanted the incident documented.
— 8:39 p.m. — An officer on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 westbound near mile marker 216 in St. Clairsville issued a warning to a motorist for speeding.
— 7:56 p.m. — A caller reported that a shopping cart hit the side of his car outside Kroger in the Ohio Valley Plaza in St. Clairsville and he believed it was intentional. An officer responded but was unable to view surveillance video that day. He was to follow up during the next shift, the report indicated.
— 7:15 p.m. — A caller requested a welfare check on a female at an address on Beech Spring Road in Martins Ferry. Deputies responded. Nothing was found to be out of the ordinary with the female, according to the report.
— 6:17 p.m. — An officer on a traffic stop of an Ohio motorist on Key-Bellaire Road at Klee’s Crossing in Bellaire found drugs, the report stated.
— 6:07 p.m. — Deputies responded to an address on Old Township Road 310 in Bellaire for a call about a male bothering the caller. The complainant was advised of her options. Officers were going to speak with the male at an address on Sand Hill but did not locate him.
— 5:44 p.m. — A deputy was out on Interstate 70 near mile marker 218 in Richland Township removing a tire from the roadway.
— 2:58 p.m. — Officers on a traffic stop on Interstate 470 eastbound near mile marker 3 in Richland Township issued a warning to a motorist for speeding.
— 8:56 a.m. — A caller from an address on National Road in Lansing reported her neighbor was using a backhoe and digging up her yard. The caller was advised it was a civil matter and was informed of the proper steps to take.
— 8:38 a.m. — An officer responded to the Roadside Grill on Ohio 331 (Uniontown-Flushing Road) in Flushing Township for a report of a female who was passed out on a picnic table. According to the officer, the female was fine and was sleeping while waiting for a ride to Lansing.
— 2:50 a.m. — A female came to the Barton Fire Department reporting she had been drinking and using narcotics and now felt unwell. A deputy responded.At 11:05 p.m. Wednesday, a manager from Walmart in St. Clairsville reported that a shoplifter left in a vehicle headed toward Steak and Shake. Her friend was running across the parking lot toward Burger King. A deputy responded and was out with the female who ran. She was transported back to Walmart. The female said her friend took her purse and cell phone when she left in the SUV. She did not want to press charges. Walmart will file the charges, according to the report. The deputy gave the female a ride to a hotel in St. Clairsville and dropped her off.
Wednesday
— 9:43 p.m. — A deputy responded to an address on National Road in St. Clairsville to assist emergency medical service personnel. A male patient went with the squad, the report stated.
— 9:20 p.m. — A caller from an address on Central Avenue in Shadyside reported her neighbor was being loud and she could not sleep. Officers responded and spoke with the complainant and the neighbor. The neighbor advised he would turn it down.
— 8:48 p.m. — A sergeant was out with a female on a go-kart in Brookside. She was advised to push it off the public roadway.
— 8:13 p.m. — A caller who was out of town requested someone pass by a house on Beal Street in Bridgeport after he saw two males walking up to the house multiple times on surveillance cameras. A deputy was in the area but did not come into contact with anyone suspicious, the report indicated.
— 7:24 p.m. — An officer responded to Love’s Travel Center on Belmont-Morristown Road for a report of a property-damage crash involving two semitrailers. Information was taken for a crash report.
— 5:50 p.m. — A caller reported a former landlord came onto her property and stole her dog. An officer responded to the address on Townhill Road in Jacobsburg to take information for a report.
— 4:10 p.m. — Deputies were on the scene at an address on Mellott Road in Smith Township for a complaint about contractors’ vehicles trespassing on a caller’s property. Three utility trucks and a pickup truck vacated the property, the report indicated.
— 4:09 p.m. — A caller from AutoZone on National Road in St. Clairsville reported a stolen Cherry Bomb kit. A manager wanted a record of the incident on file.
— 3:52 p.m. — A deputy assisted the Bridgeport Police Department at the scene of a property-damage accident on West Street in Bridgeport.
— 3:47 p.m. — A deputy on a special detail went to an address on Main Street in Smith Township to return an individual’s wallet.
— 3:36 p.m. — An officer on a traffic stop near the Interstate 70-Interstate 470 interchange in Richland Township issued a warning to a motorist for driving outside marked lanes.
— 1:20 p.m. — Officers assisted Richland Township Police with a suspicious vehicle on Interstate 70 eastbound. The vehicle had airbags deployed and was all over the road, according to the report, with parts dragging. The vehicle was stopped near mile marker 215 in St. Clairsville and a male was detained. An open container of vodka and whiskey was found, according to the report. Officers met at the Ohio State Highway Patrol post for a test. The male declined emergency medical service and was taken to jail.
— 11:12 a.m. — A caller reported ongoing issues with a neighbor going onto his property on Ferry Landing Road in Shadyside. The caller had previously taken the neighbor to court over the matter, according to the report. A deputy advised him it was a civil issue.
— 10:31 a.m. — A deputy assisted Bellaire Police with a motor vehicle accident on East 23rd Street in Bellaire.
— 10:31 a.m. — Officers responded to an address on Arman Hill Road in Powhatan Point for a report of a female experiencing a mental health crisis. She was transported to the hospital by emergency medical service personnel.
