Trio arrested in early morning drug bust in Flushing

FLUSHING – Three Belmont County residents were arrested in Flushing on Tuesday morning for administering and manufacturing a controlled substance, two counts of drug possession and possession of drug abuse instruments.

Kody Vinka, 35, of Bellaire, Lewis Dunn, 37, of Flushing, and Stacy Brown-Jaworski, 43, of St. Clairsville all currently sit in the Belmont County Jail

Sheriff James G. Zusack said that a search warrant brought an end to a lengthy investigation.

He added that the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Unit’s detectives assigned to the Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission executed an early morning search warrant at 72581 Uniontown Flushing Road with the assistance of the Belmont County Special Operations Branch.

Zusack said that a search warrant brought an end to a lengthy investigation.

He added that he’d like to thank the residents of Belmont County, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Belmont County Special Operations Branch, and the Belmont County Criminal Interdiction Unit. Zusack continues to encourage all residents of Belmont County to come forward information to the Belmont Sheriff’s Office whenever illegal activities occur.
