-- 11:23 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from Pine Lake Trailer Court on National Road in Morristown reported that a male was texting her, violating a temporary protection order. Officers responded and reported that the text messages were not threatening in nature. This was an issue between a landlord and tenant.

-- 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to Aldi's on Addie Way in St. Clairsville for a report of people throwing items into a dumpster fire. One male was taken into custody and transported to jail. Joseph Anthony Ritchie was booked into the Belmont County Jail on charges of arson, criminal damaging and criminal mischief.

-- 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported that two suspicious juveniles were walking down Interstate 470 near Bridgeport. When deputies arrived, the juveniles ran. Both were taken into custody. While this was happening, Fox Run informed central dispatch that it was missing two juvenile males. The males in custody fit the description and were returned to Fox Run. All juveniles were accounted for, according to the report.

-- 4:06 p.m. Tuesday, an officer took a report about stolen items from a storage locker at an address on Center Street in St. Clairsville.

-- 1:38 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from Pigeon Point Road in Barnesville reported that her son was fighting with her, then the phone disconnected. Deputies responded, along with Barnesville police. One male was transported to jail.

-- 2 p.m. Tuesday, a complainant came to the station wishing to report a civil protection order violation. The female complainant from an address on Center Street in Barton was the respondent of the protection order, and the petitioner was messaging her. An officer reported that no criminal activity was taking place at the time. The female was advised on how to petition for a civil protection order.

-- 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported that he was working on a residence, got into an argument with the homeowner and left his tools behind. He was returning in the morning to collect his tools and return the homeowner's trailer. He was advised to call for a deputy if the situation escalated, according to the report.

-- 12:23 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to an address on Alledonia-Crabapple Road in Alledonia for a report of a large fire involving a structure and some vehicles. Local fire departments also responded.

-- 11:51 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a meter was stolen from an address on Mehlman Road in Bellaire. A locator on the device showed its location in the Brush Run area of Jefferson County. A deputy responded, and information was taken for a theft report.

-- 11:31 a.m. Tuesday, an officer conducting a traffic stop on Ohio 7 southbound near 26th Street in Bellaire issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for driving outside marked lanes.

-- 2:33 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a suspicious car in a field across from her house on West Captina Highway in Beallsville and said someone got out and was walking around with a flashlight. Deputies responded and spoke with an individual who said he had permission from the property owner to be there. The complainant was not the property owner. Deputies advised the complainant that the property owner would need to call if he wanted anyone removed.

-- 1:02 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a physical altercation in the parking lot at Sheetz on Addie Way in St. Clairsville. St. Clairsville police responded and reported that all parties had left before their arrival.

-- 9:44 p.m. Monday, a 911 call with an open line was received from an address on Industry Road in Powhatan Point. According to dispatch, it sounded like a male and female in a vehicle were yelling at each other. Officers responded and attempted to contact an individual but could not locate anyone.

-- 9:11 p.m. Monday, a caller from an address on Cash Ridge Road in Bellaire reported that juveniles in an orange Jeep threw a water bottle at their mailbox and destroyed it. A deputy responded and made contact with the vehicle but did not make contact with anyone at the address, according to the report.

-- 8:52 p.m. Monday, a caller from an address on Old Township Road 310 in Bellaire reported that an individual on a motorcycle was riding in her yard and left tracks. She was provided information for a civil protection order.

-- 7:40 p.m. Monday, an officer responded to the area of Dairy Queen on National Road in Bridgeport for a report of a female passed out in a vehicle. One female was taken into custody after refusing a urine test at the sheriff's office, according to the report. She was released and cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

-- 7:32 p.m. Monday, a deputy responded to Ferryview Road in Bridgeport for a report of a one-vehicle accident with injury. An occupant of the vehicle was in and out of consciousness, according to the report. The Ohio State Highway Patrol arrived on scene, and deputies remained to assist.

-- 6:43 p.m. Monday, the manager at Walmart in the Ohio Valley Plaza, St. Clairsville, reported that a Spark shopper in the store was stealing Nintendos. Officers responded. A deputy was out with a vehicle, and information was taken for a larceny report.

-- 2:16 p.m. Monday, a sergeant conducting a traffic stop on National Road and Reservoir Road in St. Clairsville issued a warning to a motorist for driving without tail lights.

-- 2:09 p.m. Monday, a caller from Key-Bellaire Road in Bellaire reported theft of money. Information was taken for a larceny report.

-- 12:39 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious male heading toward Columbia Street in St. Clairsville. The male was acting as though someone was chasing him. Deputies responded and located the male on Lynn Drive. The male was walking down the street and was not being chased.

-- 8:44 a.m. Monday, a caller from the Grove Apartments on National Road in Belmont reported a fraud. A deputy responded.

-- 8:19 p.m. Monday, a deputy conducting a traffic stop on Ohio 7 southbound near the Bridgeport exit issued a warning to a Michigan motorist for improper backing.

-- 2:38 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a group of intoxicated men were inside Sheetz on Addie Way in St. Clairsville. Deputies responded, along with units from the St. Clairsville Police Department. The individuals had a sober driver, according to the report. Sheetz requested they leave the property, and deputies stood by until the group left.
