-- 11:04 p.m., deputies responded to an address on Willow Grove Road in St. Clairsville for a report of neighbor trouble. A caller reported that his neighbor was intentionally stomping on the floor and yelling through the door at him. Both parties were contacted. They have made up, according to the report.
-- 9:16 p.m., deputies were dispatched to an address on Maple Avenue in St. Clairsville for an animal call. A cat was reportedly shot with a firearm, the report indicated. A caller stated that a female pointed the firearm in his direction. A .22 brass shell casing was found next to where the cat was dropped off, according to the report, which stated that the female was read her rights. A search warrant was executed at the residence, as well, according to the report. The female was reportedly taken to jail.
-- 3:03 p.m., a deputy was on the scene at an address on Barton Road in St. Clairsville where an adult daughter and her mother were involved in a verbal argument. The daughter chose to walk and be picked up by a friend, according to the report.
-- 1:46 p.m., a caller from an address on Mika Drive in Martins Ferry reported that a male left a message that he was coming after him. The caller requested extra patrols over the weekend.
-- 1:37 p.m., a 911 hangup call was received from an address on Morristown-Flushing Road in Belmont. There was no answer on callback. A deputy responded and advised that all was well.
-- 11:45 a.m., a caller from an address on Simpson Road in St. Clairsville reported that checks were stolen in April 2024. A deputy responded and took information for a report.
-- 7:38 a.m., an officer on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 issued a warning to a motorist for speeding.
-- 7:29 a.m., a caller from an address on Orchard Drive in Dillonvale reported that a male was mowing her grass. The caller was advised to contact a surveyor and put up signs and/or a fence to identify the property lines.
-- 12:34 p.m., security at Sheetz on Addie Way in St. Clairsville reported there were approximately 20-25 teens loitering there. A deputy responded and talked with the staff, who noted that most of the teens left before officers arrived.
Monday
-- 10:10 p.m., a caller stated that someone near the dead end at the Pine Lake Trailer Court on National Road in Belmont was setting off fireworks. An officer patrolled the area but found nothing.
-- 7:59 p.m., a caller requested a welfare check on a female and her 8-month-old son at the Red Roof Inn in St. Clairsville. The staff indicated that she checked in the previous day and left earlier in the afternoon.
-- 5:02 p.m., a caller from Patterson Hill Road in Bellaire reported that a female was harassing her. Deputies responded.
-- 3:26 p.m., a caller from an address on Summit Avenue in St. Clairsville reported that her son was arguing with her. Units responded to the report of domestic trouble. According to the report, an individual was taken to the state line by officers.
-- 12:52 p.m., a caller from an address on Beth Drive in Bellaire reported being scammed. A deputy responded and took information for a report.
-- 11:14 a.m., a caller reported that her ex was walking around her house on Old Township Road 310 in Bellaire. He came on a motorcycle. A deputy responded and took information for a report.
-- 10:41 a.m., a caller from an address on Skyview Drive in Martins Ferry reported being scammed out of a large amount of money. A deputy responded to the call and took information for a report.
-- 9:05 a.m., a caller from an address on Beckett Court in St. Clairsville reported a scam and check fraud. The complainant was to be coming in to the office to file a report. The caller lived within city limits and was referred to the St. Clairsville Police Department.
-- 8:47 a.m., a unit was out at an address on National Road in St. Clairsville near the Ohio University Eastern campus for a report of a suspicious package. One small baggie with a white powdery substance in it was collected, according to the report.
-- 12:25 a.m., central dispatch received a call about a two-vehicle crash at the CVS on Addie Way in St. Clairsville. A deputy responded, as did a unit from the St. Clairsville Police Department. Emergency medical service and the fire department were also requested. The Ohio State Highway Patrol handled the crash, with officers assisting. This was listed as a motor vehicle accident with property damage only.
