Colerain Township to hold special meeting Monday
COLERAIN TOWNSHIP -- The Colerain Township Trustees will hold a special meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 20, at the Township Complex, 70730 Crescent Road, St. Clairsville.
The meeting is scheduled to approve a construction loan agreement between the township and the Barton Volunteer Fire Department through the USDA.
The meeting is open to the public. No other township business will be discussed.

Yorkville produce distribution dates set for 2026
YORKVILLE - The Yorkville Produce Distribution has released its 2026 schedule, with monthly distributions planned Saturdays from April through October.
New directors Robbie Criss and Ronica Criss, along with their four daughters, announced the schedule and apologized for the late notice, noting it is their first time serving in the role. They said they are working under the guidance of Pastor David Forsythe of Gateway Apostolic Church.
Distribution dates are Aug. 8, Sept. 12 and Oct. 10 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Flushing Twp. meetings scheduled
FLUSHING - Flushing Township trustees will hold regular meetings at 7 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month in 2026 at the Flushing Township Garage. If a meeting date is rescheduled, the public will be notified.
Board report available
ST. CLAIRSVILLE - The Mental Health and Recovery Board announced its FY2025 annual board report is available.

Community Days on tap
SMITH TOWNSHIP - The Smith Township Volunteer Fire Department and Smith Township Community Center will host a Community Day on Saturday, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States and the 225th anniversary of Belmont County.
The event will include a vendor and craft show, car cruise-in, parade, food vendors, games and family activities throughout the day.
