11:02 p.m. -- A caller reported a suspicious male walking up and down Moores Run Road in Bellaire. An officer responded but did not locate the individual.
9:18 p.m. -- Several officers and units from the Bellaire Police Department served a felony search warrant at an address in Bellaire. Damon Gregory Pernick was taken into custody and booked into the Belmont County Jail on charges of failure to appear regarding no driver’s license, possession of methamphetamine, possession of crack cocaine, possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs, illegal manufacturing of drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments, possession of criminal tools and endangering children. Adam Michael May and Eli Patchen Sullivan were arrested and booked on two counts each of drug possession and one count each of possession of drug abuse instruments.
8:11 p.m. -- Units responded to an address in Bridgeport for a report of an unruly 7-year-old. The child had calmed down by the time officers arrived. Units had a conversation with the father and the child.
7:02 p.m. -- An officer on a traffic stop on Ohio 147 in Bethesda issued a warning to a motorist for driving with expired plates.
5:25 p.m. -- A caller from an address on Garrett Hill Road in St. Clairsville who was kayaking on Captina Creek Aug. 5 said a suspicious male was on a bridge taking pictures in the area. They asked him to delete the picture, and he said OK, according to the complainant, who said they found it odd. The caller just wanted it on record.
4:13 p.m. -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol called about construction barrels rolling around on Interstate 70 in Belmont. A deputy responded but found nothing.
4:10 p.m. -- A deputy reported a motorcycle had run into the back of his cruiser on Interstate 70 near mile marker 215. An emergency medical service squad was called to check it out. Units came to assist, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol was in charge of the scene and accident report.
2:31 p.m. -- A caller from McDonald’s on Mall Ring Road in St. Clairsville reported they had a male there who was giving staff problems and needed to be removed. Officers responded. The individual will be trespassed, according to the report.
12:58 p.m. -- A unit initiated a traffic stop on Ohio 7 southbound at 48th Street in Bellaire. Consent was given to search, according to the report, which stated that drugs were found on the driver and recovered by an officer, with charges pending.
12:53 p.m. -- Several units responded to a report of domestic trouble at an address on National Road in Morristown. This reportedly involved a mother and son in a domestic situation, and the male pushed his mother to the ground. A squad also was dispatched. According to the report, an officer dropped the male off at a Dollar General.
10:43 a.m. -- An officer on a traffic stop on Interstate 470 westbound near St. Clairsville issued a warning to a Florida motorist for an improper lane change.
6:53 a.m. -- A deputy responded to a fully involved structure fire at an address on Wegee Lane in Shadyside.
3:35 a.m. -- A 911 call was received with an open line from an address on Steinersville Road in Powhatan Point. An officer responded and walked around the property to find everything was secure. This was listed as a Windstream issue.
2:37 a.m. -- A caller reported that a vehicle window was broken out by an unknown object somewhere in Somerton. The caller was unaware of how this happened and did not suspect anyone would have done it on purpose. The caller stated that the damage occurred Aug. 4 and that they would file a claim with their insurance.
