-- 9:22 p.m., a caller from an address on Oak Street in Bethesda reported a bird had gotten into her house. An officer responded and reported there were "negative signs of any bird."

-- 8:51 p.m., a caller from West Texas Roadhouse on National Road in St. Clairsville reported a group of men he had been staying with verbally threatened and kidnapped him before dropping him off in the middle of nowhere. Units responded. The caller declined emergency medical services and said he was fine. Nothing physical happened. The issue reportedly began in Wheeling by the library. A deputy transported one male to the Wheeling Police Department. The nature of the incident was listed as "mental."

-- 5:14 p.m., officers picked up a male at an address on Washington Street in Jacobsburg for an interview as part of an investigation follow-up.

-- 4:12 p.m., a caller reported a juvenile on Elm Street in Powhatan Point was riding a minibike on Ohio 7. An officer responded and made contact with the individual, the report indicated.

-- 2:47 p.m., units on a traffic stop on the Ohio 331 ramp from Interstate 70 issued a warning to a motorist for a red-light violation.

-- 2:29 p.m., an officer responded to an address on Morningside Drive in St. Clairsville to check for a hit-and-run involving an elderly female driver. Nothing was found.

-- 1:18 p.m., a unit initiated a traffic stop on Red Roof Lane in St. Clairsville. A K-9 gave a positive indication on the vehicle, and a large amount of drugs was found in the front right pocket of a male, according to the report. One male was taken to jail. The driver was issued warnings for a window tint violation and a cracked windshield.

-- 12:34 p.m., a unit initiated a traffic stop on Ohio 7 northbound near 26th Street in Bellaire and issued a written warning to an Ohio motorist for an equipment violation.

-- 12:14 p.m., units responded to an address on Sunny Acres Drive in Martins Ferry for a report of a neighbor dispute. Officers spoke to both parties and advised them to stay away from each other.

-- 11:46 a.m., a unit on a traffic stop on Ohio 7 northbound near Aetnaville in Bridgeport issued a warning to a Tennessee motorist for speeding. An occupant had a warrant out of Tennessee that was out of range for pickup, the report indicated. The male was waiting for a valid driver.

-- 10:51 a.m., units initiated a traffic stop at the top of Blaine Hill in St. Clairsville. A warning was issued to an Ohio motorist for speeding.

-- 10:40 a.m., a caller from an address on Stone Ridge Drive in Belmont reported identity theft. He said reward points had been stolen from his credit card and someone was using his name and password. The caller obtained a new card and password, but it happened again, according to the report. Officers took information for the investigation.

-- 10:29 a.m., units initiated a traffic stop at an address on Blaine Hill in St. Clairsville and issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for speeding.

-- 10:04 a.m., officers on a traffic stop on Blaine Hill in St. Clairsville issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for speeding.

-- 9:45 a.m., units on a traffic stop at the top of Blaine Hill in St. Clairsville issued a warning to a West Virginia motorist for speeding.

-- 4:39 a.m., a caller from Wayne L. Hayes Apartments on Morristown Street in Flushing reported her ex-boyfriend kept knocking on her door. She said he did not live in the apartments and she asked him to leave, but he would not. Units patrolled the area but did not locate him. The caller was advised of the process for obtaining a temporary protection order.
