-- 5:30 p.m. An inmate at the Belmont County Jail requested a welfare check on his daughter at a hotel in Moundsville. Information was given to the Moundsville Police Department.
-- 4 p.m. A caller from an address on Belmont-Centerville Road in Belmont reported that a neighbor used a bulldozer and made a road on his property. A deputy responded to the scene, and a family member of the neighbor showed up. Both parties were advised that this was a civil issue and that they needed to contact a surveyor and a property attorney.
-- 3:59 p.m. A caller from the Days Inn West on Holiday Drive in St. Clairsville reported that a male was at the pool and was not turning music down. There were other people outside with kids, and the male was giving the staff a hard time. An officer responded and spoke with the male. He turned down the music.
-- 1:24 p.m. St. Clairsville police requested additional units on Efaw Avenue in St. Clairsville for a male who ran from an officer. Units were unable to locate the male.
-- 1:19 p.m. A caller reported that a possible domestic occurred at an address on Cats Run Road in Powhatan Point. The female did not wish to pursue charges and wanted to leave, according to the report. She was advised on how to obtain a civil protection order.
-- 11:50 a.m. A caller reported that his neighbor was trespassing on his property on Provident Road in St. Clairsville. The caller had video of the incident, according to the report. This was an ongoing neighbor issue. A deputy responded and located the property marker, noting that the neighbor did not cross the property line. Both parties were advised to stay on their property and not to speak with each other.
-- 11:09 a.m. A caller from an address on Barton Road in St. Clairsville reported that there were people in his apartment who were not supposed to be there. He said there was a female watching his dog while he was out of town, and he did not want anyone to be there, including her. An officer responded and was standing by so they could get their belongings. They left, and the door was secured, according to the report.
-- 7:56 a.m. A caller from an address on Willowbrook Road in Martins Ferry reported that her ex slashed her tires. An officer took information for a vandalism report.
-- 6:21 a.m. A caller reported that a male was walking down the middle of Barton-Blaine Road in St. Clairsville and was talking to himself. An officer responded, and the male was given a courtesy ride to the Wingate Hotel.
-- 6:17 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle was in a ditch with no one around it on Singer Road in St. Clairsville. The car looked totaled, according to the caller. An officer went to the registered owner’s home but did not locate them. Bill’s Towing was called to take the vehicle. A hold was placed on the vehicle until the owner filed a report with the sheriff’s office and paid the towing and storage fees. At 3:35 p.m., a male came to the station to file a report. A written statement was obtained, and a citation was issued for failure to control.
-- 5:11 a.m. Central dispatch advised that the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office was requesting a deputy to attempt to make contact with a male. An officer responded to an address on Indian Run Road in Bellaire but did not come in contact with the male.
