-- 10:36 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle that had been in the parking lot at the Shell station in Aetnaville for a couple of hours. An officer responded and was given consent to search but found nothing, according to the report. The man was having relationship issues and did not want to go home at the moment. Personnel at the Shell station said he was OK to stay in the lot a while longer.
-- 10:07 p.m., a caller reported that a suspicious female was walking around Golden Ticket Cinemas at the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville and was not acting right. An officer responded and reported that the woman appeared to be fine and was responsive to general questions. She was given the sheriff’s office nonemergency line if she needed a ride when she was finished with the movie.
-- 9:45 p.m., a third-party caller reported a possible domestic incident. A deputy responded and met with the woman involved at an address on Pipe Creek Road in Bellaire. She advised it was a heated argument and nothing physical. The deputy took the woman to Moundsville and dropped her off at an address on Third Street.
-- 9:45 p.m., a 911 call was received from an address on Glencoe-Whitney Road in Belmont with only static on the line. An officer responded but did not come into contact with anyone, and nothing could be seen inside the house, the report indicated.
-- 4:55 p.m., a deputy responded to Kroger on Valley Plaza Drive in St. Clairsville for a report of an injured owl. The owl was taken to Bethesda, according to the report.
-- 4:39 p.m., a caller reported a stolen vehicle at a location on East Captina Highway in Alledonia. Units responded to take information for a report.
-- 4:22 p.m., St. Clairsville Police were on the scene with information about mailboxes being damaged on Willow Grove Road. A deputy responded.
-- 4:10 p.m., a caller reported that she had a temporary protection order against a man who was driving around the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville. According to the report, an officer advised that the TPO expired July 28. He advised the complainant to go back to court.
-- 12:49 p.m., a caller from the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that a tank fell off a pickup truck and into the creek along Main Street in Warnock. The OSHP was en route, and Ohio 9 was shut down at that time.
-- 2 a.m., the Cumberland Trail Fire District received a call from a woman who reportedly was acting weird and requesting a squad. Units responded to an address on West Greenbrier Drive in St. Clairsville. She gave consent to search her purse, but nothing was found, according to the report. She was taken by emergency medical service.
-- 1:54 a.m., a caller from East Barrister Street in Belmont reported that she thought a neighbor was messing with her car via his computer. An officer responded and reported that nothing was going on with the vehicle. The woman possibly had mental health issues, according to the report.
-- 1:20 a.m., a caller from Second Street in Bethesda reported that juveniles were horsing around and rolling a tire down the road. An officer responded. While en route, it became known that the juveniles had taken a vehicle and had hit multiple mailboxes, multiple vehicles and a residence. The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded and would be handling the crash. The juveniles were identified and located. The juveniles advised that they had stolen alcohol from the Bel-Morr and 208 Fuel Plaza. Information was taken for reports.

-- 10:27 p.m., a caller from Union Township reported that he and his 14-year-old daughter got into a verbal altercation and the girl took off walking eastbound on U.S. 40. The juvenile did return home. The girl’s mother arrived later, and the parents were going to work things out among themselves and through court, according to the report.
-- 9:29 p.m., a deputy responded to Whiteside Chevrolet Oldsmobile Buick on National Road in St. Clairsville after a caller stated that he was looking at vehicles on the lot and became stuck when the entrance was blocked.
-- 8:49 p.m., units responded to a report of a suspicious person at the Hampton Inn on Mall Ring Road in St. Clairsville. A caller reported that a man had been acting strangely but then was sitting quietly in the lobby. A deputy responded and helped jump-start the man’s vehicle, according to the report.
-- 8:14 p.m., officers responded to Love’s Travel Center on Reco Road in Belmont for a report of an issue with a truck blocking the diesel fuel island and refusing to leave.
-- 6:43 p.m., a caller reported that she was being followed around the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville. The other party pulled into Sheetz, according to the caller, who was headed toward the St. Clairsville Police Department to make a report. A deputy was dispatched. Statements from the complainant were collected. A deputy went to another location and spoke with the other party. Statements were collected from all parties, according to the report.
-- 12:01 p.m., a caller from Belmont requested to have a record on file about someone else using his email address to open a Facebook account and a Venmo account.
-- 1:08 a.m., a caller reported a domestic situation at an address in Somerset Township. Officers responded and spoke to all parties. Information was taken for a report.
-- 12:02 a.m., a caller said a vehicle of hers was stolen and she was calling from a location where it was now on Steinersville Road in Powhatan Point. The complainant was going to Monroe County to file a stolen vehicle report.
