-- 10:53 p.m., units searched for a man in distress with mental health issues on Old Winding Hill Road in Bellaire. Rapid tracking showed the man’s vehicle traveling on Interstate 470 into West Virginia. Information was transferred to officials in Ohio County.
-- 8:34 p.m., security at Sheetz on Addie Way in St. Clairsville called about a verbal disturbance in the parking lot. A female in a Jeep reportedly was yelling through a megaphone and sitting on people’s vehicles. Deputies arrived, but the female was gone. Officers patrolled the area.
-- 5:57 p.m., a caller from Oakview Juvenile Detention Center on Oak View Road in St. Clairsville reported that a 13-year-old male was actively fighting staff. Deputies responded and took one male juvenile into custody. The male was transported to Sargus Juvenile Detention Center.
-- 5:56 p.m., an officer responded to Love’s Travel Center on Reco Road in Morristown for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving property damage only. A semi reportedly collided with another semi while attempting to park. There were no injuries. Information and photos were taken for a crash report.
-- 5:33 p.m., a caller from an address on Virginia Street in Bethesda reported a temporary protection order violation. She stated that a female known to her was yelling at her. Deputies confirmed there was no protection order in effect. An officer responded and spoke with both parties. While there was no TPO, there was a court date set for the matter, and they were advised to "act civil in the meantime," according to the report.
-- 4:37 p.m., a caller reported a break-in that occurred within the last week on Willow Grove Road in St. Clairsville. The residence was trashed and there was a broken window, according to the report. Deputies responded and took information for a breaking and entering report.
-- 4:12 p.m., central dispatch received a text to 911 regarding a fire, indicating that "someone" was on fire. The texter was requesting help for themselves as well but could not call or text further. A deputy and the Neffs Fire Department responded to the area. Officials did not find a fire or the caller.
-- 4:10 p.m., a caller reported that a suspicious vehicle was parked in his field on Negus Road in Martins Ferry and no one was with it. Units responded.
-- 3:45 p.m., a 911 hangup call was placed from LongHorn Steakhouse on Mall Ring Road in St. Clairsville. Units were on the scene and advised that all was well.
-- 2:50 p.m., a caller reported that a male was panhandling outside Walmart on Valley Plaza Drive in St. Clairsville. Units responded and the male was advised that he could not be on Walmart property.
-- 2:50 p.m., a caller requested that a call record be placed on file alleging that a gas station on National Road East in St. Clairsville had been selling her 18-year-old nephew alcohol, which led to her nephew receiving a DUI. The caller was referred to Ohio Liquor Control to file a complaint.
-- 2:42 p.m., deputies responded to an address on Johnson Road North in Bethesda for a report of a domestic dispute. There was a male and female involved in a verbal argument only, according to the report. Deputies spoke with both parties and determined that the incident did not meet the criteria for domestic charges. Both parties were to remain separated for the remainder of the night, according to the report.
-- 1:32 p.m., units responded to assist the Martins Ferry Police Department with a death notification at an address on Sunny Acres Drive in Martins Ferry.
-- 12:16 p.m., loss prevention personnel at Walmart on Valley Plaza Drive in St. Clairsville called central dispatch to report that a male was harassing and acting aggressively toward customers. She advised that the male had been informed that he was not permitted on the property. Units responded and made contact with the male, advising him that he was not welcome on the property.
-- 2:34 a.m., an officer on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 eastbound in St. Clairsville issued a warning to an Indiana motorist for driving outside of marked lanes.
-- 2:16 a.m., a caller from an address on Glenns Run Road in Martins Ferry reported receiving a text from a male. She did not wish to see a deputy but requested extra patrols in the area.
