-- 8:08 p.m., an officer on a traffic stop near the Marathon on East Main Street in St. Clairsville issued a warning to a motorist for displaying an unreadable license plate.
-- 7:48 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to Goodwill at the Ohio Valley Plaza in St. Clairsville for a report of several people dumpster diving. The deputy spoke with an individual who said she thought it was legal to go through trash that had been thrown out. She was advised that although there is no state law against going through dumpsters, each township has its own ordinances regarding such activity. She was advised not to go through the dumpster and complied, according to the report.
-- 7:29 p.m., a caller reported a homeless person on the side of National Road in Bridgeport near the Hillside Motel. An officer responded, made contact with the subject and reported that all was good. No additional checkups were needed for the night.
-- 6:03 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the Holloway Fire Department on West Main Street in Holloway for a vehicle blocking a garage door. The deputy was informed that the vehicle was parked in front of the fire department garage, preventing a fire truck from leaving. The owner was not on the scene. Since the vehicle was on private property, the fire department could have it towed at its discretion, according to the report.
-- 2:11 p.m., an officer performed a welfare check on an individual at an address on High Ridge Road in Bellaire. All was good, according to the report.
-- 11:43 a.m., central dispatch advised that a caller reported a vehicle had crashed into the Suds & Duds building on National Road in Belmont. No injuries were reported, and the driver was out of the vehicle. A deputy responded and took information for a crash report.
-- 11:09 a.m., units from the Barnesville Police Department requested assistance at an address on Barnesville-Waterworks Road. An individual with an active warrant was running from police near the address, according to the report. Officers were given consent to check the house, which was deemed clear.
-- 9:20 a.m., a caller reported to central dispatch that a tree had fallen on a township truck at an address on Post Road in Martins Ferry. A deputy responded, and information was taken for an accident report involving property damage only.

-- 11:30 p.m., a caller from Bridgeport reported that his 17-year-old son was refusing to return the car keys. The mother had the keys and planned to go through the courts with the juvenile.
-- 11:25 p.m., a deputy met Jefferson County officials at the county line on Public Road in Dillonvale to pick up a male prisoner and transport him to jail.
-- 10:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Glenwood Apartments on Belmont Road in Bethesda for a report of five people fighting. A female said she had a temporary protection order against her husband, who had come to the apartment, opened her screen door and pushed her to the ground. One neighbor came to her defense, she said. A second neighbor also intervened, punching the husband, escorting him off the property and advising him of the TPO. The husband reportedly made several threats and walked away. A sergeant located him in Barnesville. He was taken into custody for a TPO violation and transported to WVU Medicine Barnesville Hospital for treatment before being transferred to the Belmont County Jail.
-- 9:13 p.m., an officer on a traffic stop on U.S. 40 eastbound in Bridgeport issued a warning to a motorist for driving without tail lights.
-- 6:53 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle with two children inside in the parking lot outside Gabriel Brothers on Banfield Road in St. Clairsville. An officer responded but did not locate the vehicle.
-- 5:16 p.m., a caller reported that a male juvenile was making threats and yelling at his mother at an address in Jerusalem. Officers responded, and the juvenile was calm upon their arrival. A probation officer allowed the juvenile to stay there for the night. The incident was to be reported in the morning.
-- 4:45 p.m., an officer assisted emergency medical service personnel at Beacon House at Forrest Hills on Reservoir Road in St. Clairsville in disarming an 86-year-old man with a butter knife. The man was transported by squad, and all units cleared.
-- 3:19 p.m., a caller from an address on National Road in Bridgeport complained that the landlord had shut off the water due to nonpayment. The caller was advised that it was a civil issue.
-- 3:17 p.m., officers responded to an address in Flushing for a report of an unruly male juvenile tearing up a house and denting a car. A deputy was with a male in the park who was a friend of the subject. No one wanted to file a report or give a statement. The juvenile returned to his family, who planned to seek help at WVU Medicine Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
-- 1:47 p.m., a caller from Rent to Own on National Road in Bridgeport reported a gaming personal computer stolen. Information was taken for a theft report.
-- 12:10 p.m., officers responded to Bellaire Middle School on Neffs-Bellaire Road for a report of a student wanting to fight people. A deputy took the male into custody and charged him with assault, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer. One deputy took the male to the Sargus Juvenile Detention Center, while another picked up medication for the subject and took it to Sargus.
-- 11:32 a.m., a caller from an address on Locust Avenue in Bridgeport reported that someone threw a liquid on his vehicle. A neighbor had video of the incident, and a deputy responded. The video showed a neighbor with a cup, but it could not be determined what was in it. The caller had washed the vehicle before the deputy’s arrival. The incident was listed as vandalism.
-- 9:27 a.m., a caller from a business on Taylor Street in Powhatan Point reported that a male hit a female, who may have been unconscious. The male left on foot toward the marina. The female did not want to press charges. Units from the sheriff’s office and Powhatan Point Police Department patrolled the area around the marina but did not locate the male.
-- 7:36 a.m., a caller from the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported a suspicious truck parked in the middle of the road on Dorsch Road in Martins Ferry. A subject subsequently came out and moved the vehicle.
-- 7:24 a.m., a deputy was out on school zone patrol at Bellaire Middle School on Neffs-Bellaire Road in Bellaire.
-- 7:13 a.m., an officer was out on school zone patrol at Bridgeport Schools on Industrial Drive in Bridgeport.
-- 7:05 a.m., an officer was out with a person in the parking lot of CVS Pharmacy on Addie Way in St. Clairsville. A female was sleeping, and central dispatch had been dealing with the same subject for the past two days. The officer advised that she was awake and moving on.
-- 7:02 a.m., an officer was out on school zone patrol at Union Local Schools on Belmont-Morristown Road in Belmont.
-- 12:11 a.m., a caller from CVS Pharmacy on Addie Way in St. Clairsville reported that a homeless female was in the parking lot screaming. An officer responded. The female stated she was OK and was drifting through the area. She expressed frustration that law enforcement had been called on her multiple times.
