The officer responded to an address on North Second Street in Martins Ferry, according to the report. The crash involved one vehicle registered in West Virginia and another registered in Ohio. There was property damage only.
-- 7:54 p.m. -- A caller at the Ohio State Highway Patrol post on National Road in St. Clairsville wanted an officer to look at a car for a tracker. Units responded and reported that possible mental health issues were involved with the complaint.
-- 7:37 p.m. -- A caller reported a male hanging around the area of Subway on National Road in St. Clairsville for the past three to four hours. Officers responded to the scene. He was homeless and had just been released from jail, according to the report. Units attempted to contact the Salvation Army. The man was given a ride to Wheeling Island.
-- 4:49 p.m. -- A caller from Shadyside reported that her great-niece was pushed down a hill by the niece's 19-year-old boyfriend and her arm was broken as a result. According to the report, they did not want to press charges at this time.
-- 3:44 p.m. -- An officer responded to a report of two suspicious vehicles parked in the lot of a business on Executive Drive in St. Clairsville. The owner wanted an officer to check what was going on with them. According to the officer, all was secure, and it was up to the property owner how they proceeded.
-- 12:51 p.m. -- A caller from Barnesville reported that her ex-boyfriend was harassing her over the phone. She was given information on how to obtain a civil protection order.
-- 12:29 p.m. -- An officer responded to Interstate 70 westbound near mile marker 215 in St. Clairsville for a report of a suspicious male hitchhiking. The unit located the male, who was off the ramp. The male was going to Wisconsin and did not want assistance, according to the report.
-- 12:24 p.m. -- Officers responded to a report of a vehicle fire at the Bug Shop on National Road in Bridgeport. A vehicle caught fire inside the structure at this location, according to central dispatch. All units assisted with traffic control.
-- 12:06 p.m. -- An anonymous caller reported extreme animal abuse at an address near St. Clairsville in Colerain Township. Belmont County Hoof and Paw and the Belmont County Animal Shelter also were contacted. The caller indicated that the animal shelter advised them that law enforcement had to respond first. A representative from Hoof and Paw advised law enforcement that they would respond as soon as possible, according to the report.
-- 11:06 a.m. -- An officer was at an address on Dlesk Avenue in Dillonvale with the Environmental Protection Agency regarding littering or illegal dumping. The officer also responded to an address on Wildwood Drive, the report stated.
-- 9:31 a.m. -- A caller reported to central dispatch that she was concerned for her safety because of a suspicious male in the area of Riesbeck's Food Market on National Road in Bridgeport. She was advised to stay inside the store until a deputy arrived. A unit arrived and was advised that the male was "acting weird," but nothing was said. The officer patrolled the area, but nothing was found.
-- 7:26 a.m. -- A unit initiated a traffic stop on U.S. 40 at Ohio 149 in Morristown. A warning was issued to an Ohio motorist for speeding.

-- 10:06 p.m. -- A deputy assisted St. Clairsville Police with a report of lightning striking a pole in Orchard Terrace in St. Clairsville.
-- 9:16 p.m. -- A caller reported that a man's car had been vandalized in the parking lot of the Belmont County Fairgrounds on Roscoe Road in St. Clairsville. An officer responded.
-- 7:02 p.m. -- An officer on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 eastbound near mile marker 224 issued a warning to a motorist for driving with expired tags.
-- 4:22 p.m. -- An officer responded to a report of domestic trouble in Bethesda. According to central dispatch, a juvenile male reported that his uncle hit him because he did not want a haircut. The officer did not contact anyone at the business location.
-- 2:24 p.m. -- A caller reported that a male against whom she has a protection order was driving by her house in Bellaire. Information was taken for a stalking report.
-- 2:13 p.m. -- A complainant came to the station with her juvenile niece, of whom she has custody, to report a crime. The nature of the incident was listed as a sex offense. Information was taken for a report.
-- 12:39 p.m. -- Central dispatch advised that a caller from Old State Route 147 in Bethesda, Goshen Township, reported that someone stole his hunting gear. Units responded to the call and took information for a report.
-- 9:36 a.m. -- Officers responded to Wegee Road at Webb Heights in Shadyside for a disabled vehicle that was unattended at the intersection. Units advised that the vehicle was secured and off the roadway, and they were going to an address to attempt to contact the owner. Officers located the owner and were advised that the vehicle had broken down. He was going to have it towed.
-- 7:05 a.m. -- A caller reported a white van with a broken windshield parked at a swimming hole near a location in Shadyside, Mead Township. A unit responded. The caller wanted the vehicle removed. A deputy on the scene reported that the windows were down and no one was around. An address in Jacobsburg was checked for the owner, the report indicated. The sheriff's office requested that Zanesville Police be contacted about an address. Contact was made with the owner, who advised that the vehicle had broken down the previous week. They
