-- 2:13 p.m., a complainant came to the station with her juvenile niece, of whom she has custody, to report a crime. The nature of the incident was listed as a sex offense. Information was taken for a report.
-- 12:39 p.m., central dispatch advised that a caller on Old State Route 147 in Bethesda, Goshen Township, reported someone had stolen his hunting gear. Units responded and took information for a report.
-- 9:36 a.m., officers responded to Wegee Road at Webb Heights in Shadyside for an unattended disabled vehicle at the intersection. Units advised the vehicle was secured and off the roadway and went to an address to attempt to contact the owner. Officers located the owner, who said the vehicle had broken down. He said he would have it towed.
-- 7:05 a.m., a caller reported a white van with a broken windshield parked at a swimming hole near a location in Shadyside, Mead Township. A unit responded. The caller wanted the vehicle removed. A deputy reported the windows were down and no one was around. An address in Jacobsburg was checked for the owner, according to the report. The sheriff’s office requested Zanesville police be contacted about an address. Contact was made with the owner, who said the vehicle had broken down the previous week. The owner was advised to move the vehicle or it would be towed.
