At 9:57 p.m., a caller from an address in St. Clairsville, Richland Township, reported that an individual had been stalking his daughter. The complainant was advised on how to obtain a temporary protection order.
At 9:42 p.m., an officer on a traffic stop on Ohio 7 southbound near the 26th Street exit in Bellaire issued a warning to a West Virginia motorist for a turn signal violation.
At 9:17 p.m., an officer was out with kids driving recklessly in the Sheetz parking lot on Addie Way in St. Clairsville. They were warned, according to the report.
At 9:12 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle going the wrong way up the off ramp to the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville. The elderly female motorist was lost. She was given directions to a hotel, the report stated.
At 8:33 p.m., the Ohio State Highway Patrol advised that the mother of a missing juvenile had called about being messaged two hours previously that someone thought they had seen the juvenile and a male trying to use an ATM at the Dollar General on National Road in St. Clairsville. An officer responded but did not come into contact with the subjects.
At 7:10 p.m., officers were out at Mall Road in St. Clairsville with a female with an active warrant out of Guernsey County. Officers met officials from Guernsey County at the county line in Fairview and transferred the female to their custody.
At 4:55 p.m., a caller from the Pine Lake Trailer Park on National Road in Belmont complained about a neighbor having a camera pointing toward his trailer. Officers spoke to the caller and explained that this was not illegal. They advised the complainant to contact the property’s management.
At 4:23 p.m., a complainant from St. Clairsville came to the station and reported that her car had been egged. She also complained of four-wheelers on the roadway at all hours of the night.
At 4:09 p.m., a caller from Bethesda reported that an infant was found walking in the road. A deputy responded, but the father of the infant arrived and took custody of the child before the officer was on the scene. The deputy spoke with the father at his residence.
At 1:51 p.m., a complainant came to the station to report copper wire theft at a well pad at a location in Pease Township.
At 12:02 p.m., a school resource officer at the Belmont Career Center on Hammond Road in St. Clairsville observed students in possession of nicotine vape devices. The students were turned over to the principal for an investigation and disciplinary plan. The devices were marked for disposal.
At 11:25 a.m., the principal at the Belmont Career Center on Hammond Road in St. Clairsville advised that two students were found in possession of nicotine vape devices. The devices were given to the school resource officer and marked for disposal.
At 12:36 a.m., units on a traffic stop on 21st Street in Bellaire issued a written warning to an Ohio motorist for a turn signal violation. A K-9 unit was out with the vehicle and gave a positive indication, according to the report, which stated that traces of cocaine were found on the seat.
