SEESE, Grace E. “Polka Dot,” 88, of Flushing, died Saturday, March 14, 2009 in East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry.
She was born November 18, 1920, in Pleasant County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Clarence and Luetta Higgings Huggins.
She was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith. Grace enjoyed talking on her CB radio, and many will recognize her CB handle, Polka Dot.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Charles Seese; three sons, Benny, Mike and David; a granddaughter, Beth Ann; two brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra (Gary) Nichols of Uhrichsville and Patricia Wyckoff of the home; one son, Charles (Diana) Seese of Wellington; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great- grandchildren. Her granddaughter, Amanda Wyckoff, resided with her.
Friends will be received at Warren Funeral Home, Flushing, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing.
