CHILDERS, Roger “Chilly,”
CHILDERS, Roger “Chilly,” 61 of Shadyside, OH, died Sunday, January 29, 2012 in Wheeling Hospital Medical Park.
He was born September 23, 1950 in Bellaire, OH, the son of James K. Childers and the late, Emma Lou Sechrest Butler.
He was the owner of the former, “Hair We Are” Barber Shop, Shadyside; was a Methodist by faith; and enjoyed tennis, guitar and piano, harmonica, fishing and anything outdoors.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Pete Butler; and a nephew, Trey Bommer.
Survivors include a son, Dustin Childers of Bellaire; a brother, James (Teresa) Childers of Bellaire; three sisters, Debbie Bommer, Charlene (George) Kaldor, and Kimberly (Mark) Mason, all of Bellaire; loyal friend and cousin, Terry Sechrest of Bridgeport; his father and step-mother, James K. and Linda Kay Childers of Neffs, OH; and several nieces, nephews, great-neices, and great- nephews
There will be a memorial visitation from 2 p.m. until time of Memorial services at 3 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Salvation Army, Bellaire with Capts. Louis and Norma Patrick officiating. Military services will be provided by the Belmont County Council of American Legions.
