FLANAGAN, Ashley Nicole

Ashley was a claims adjuster for Nationwide Insurance Company, a member of the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio. She was a graduate of Kent State University, Class of 2007. Flan was active in the Portage County MMRD and assisted with the Special Oympics program and competed in Nationwide Insurance Corporate Challenges.

Ashley was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Phyllis and Dick Flanagan and her maternal grandfather, Harold “Benny” Bennett.

Surviving in addition to her parents, Richard and Sherri Flanagan of Bellaire, OH, is her maternal grandmother, Dorothy “Dotzie” Roth Bennett also of Bellaire, OH. As well as her college friend and roommate, Brianne Schaefer, who was with her in her final moments and her beloved dog, Noodle. Also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauk necht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, OH., on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral liturgy outside of Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio with Fr. Daniel Heusel, the Celebrant. Interment in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bellaire, OH.
