PHILLIPS, Anna Mae

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Anna Mae McLaughlin Phillips, 85, of Heath, formerly of Flushing, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 (Her 68th wedding anniversary) with Pastor Dennis Witt as celebrant. Burial will follow at the Kirkersville Cemetery.

Anna Mae died Saturday, September 22, 2012 in Newark, following a period of declining health.

She was born in Moundsville, W.V., the daughter of the late Thomas Wilson and Clara N Henry McLaughlin.

She worked at Fostoria glass in Moundsville prior to her marriage, after which she was a lifelong homemaker.

She enjoyed reading her bible, crocheting and spoiling her family.

She is survived by her loving family: husband, Billy Eugene Phillips, daughters, Meneva (Robert) Peters of Pataskala, Ruth Ann Kirkpatrick and Nettie Thompson, both of Clovis, N.M.; nine grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers and her sister.

Friends may call Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of The Hoskinson Funeral Home, 285 E Main St., in Kirkersville.
