GEORGE SECHREST

He was born on December 4, 1951, in Bellaire and was the son of the late Robert and Yolanda (Liberati) Sechrest.

George was a 1970 graduate of Bellaire High School and was retired from Colgate-Palmolive in Cambridge. He loved to play Texas Hold’em every chance he had.

He is survived by his wife, Joann (Fields) Sechrest; children, Joseph McCoy, Joni (Roy Hart) McCoy and Jonah (Ashley) McCoy, all of Lancaster; grandsons, Nicholas and Adam Wolfe, Michael and Matthew McCoy; brother, Gary (Toni) Sechrest of Bellaire; nephews, Mike (Jenny) Sechrest of Bellaire and Brian (Jessica) Sechrest of Pataskala; great-nephews, Trace, Colt and Max Sechrest; and a great-niece, Marlee Sechrest.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Michelle Sechrest.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda. Burial will follow in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
