CHESTER JOHNSON
Chester “Chet” Johnson, Jr., 68, of Rayland, OH, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, OH.
Chet was born on June 29, 1948, in Wheeling, WV, to the late Chester and Anna Mae (Kyser) Johnson, Sr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susie Stewart.
Chet was retired from Nickles Bakery, but he was a jack of all trades. He loved working around the house and helping anybody in need. He loved fishing and playing cards.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Bernadine (Petras) Johnson; four sisters, Helen Levesque, Lois Baker, Judi Johnson and Debbie Burris; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great- nephews.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Chet and celebrate his life on Sunday, April 9, 2017, from 4-8 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH.
Funeral services will be on Monday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with the Reverend Jim Monogoudis officiating.
