JOHN HYETT
John Richard Hyett, 88, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at his home.
He was born on July 29, 1928 in Batesville, Ohio to the late George and Letha (Powell) Hyett.
John was a member of Scotch Ridge Presbyterian Church, Scottish Right, and Quaker City Lodge #500 F&AM.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Jean Julian.
John is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mildred “Milly” Hyett; sister-in- law, Evelyn Cochran of Martins Ferry; niece, Vickie (Rick) Moore of Rayland; and nephews, Rick Julian of Mt. Pleasant, Ohio and Scott (Shirley) Julian of Martins Ferry; several great-nieces and nephews; and loving cat, Sissy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon with Pastor Joe Ellis officiating at Campbell-Plumly- Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Alexander Family Cemetery in Martins Ferry.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in John’s memory to any charity.
