WILLIAM STANCHINA JR.
William Joaquin Stanchina Jr. of Williamstown was born May 19, 1938 in Bellaire, OH and died Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at his residence at the age of 78.
He was the son of the late William Joaquin Stanchina Sr. and Rilla White Stanchina Imhoff.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired editor and photographer for the Grant County News, as well as a former human resource director for RCA in Indianapolis, IN, a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity, the American Recorder Society, former executive director of the Grant County Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Dry Ridge Christian Church, DOC.
On July 1, 1967 he was united in marriage to his wife, Ann Laurel Pate Stanchina.
In addition to his wife Ann, also surviving is one daughter, Carol Fairchild of Union; two grandchildren, Avery and Davis Floyd of Union; and one sister, Mary Jane Stanchina of Stow, OH.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2017 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown. Memorials are suggested to donors choice in memory of William Stanchina.
