TROY DeLONG

Troy Matthew DeLong, 46, of Shadyside, OH, died April 13, 2018.

Troy was born May 4, 1971, in Bellaire, OH, a son of Michael A, DeLong and the late Darlene Fay Duvall DeLong.

He was a former employee of the Mayflower Vehicle Systems, and a member of the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church, Shadyside. OH.

Troy enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, and any outdoor activities. He liked to ride bulls at the Rafter M Arena. He loved his entire family who will miss him dearly.

Surviving are his father and step-mother, Michael and Jeri (Paknik) DeLong of Shadyside, OH; two brothers, Todd (Torri Contraguerro) DeLong, and Shane (Brittany Kittle) DeLong and a sister, Lyndsey (Derek Ramsay) DeLong all of Shadyside, OH; his longtime companion, Kelli Kuri and her son, Michael of Bellaire, OH; three nieces, Dakota DeLong of Wheeling, WV, Devon (Caleb) Stotridge of Freemont, OH, and Dallas DeLong of Columbia, SC; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Memorial visitation and service will be at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside, Ohio, Friday from 2 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7 p.m. with Reverend Randy Weaver officiating.

Family and Friends will meet at Powhatan Cemetery at 10 a.m. Saturday for the Inurnment.

The family is indebted to the volunteers of the Tyler County Search and Rescue Team, whose extraordinary dedication, support, skill, and amazing dogs, brought final closure to this very difficult situation.
