JOAN BACHIE
Joan B. Bachie, 85, of Bridgeport, OH, died February 17, 2019, at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born March 29, 1933, in Bridgeport, OH, a daughter of the late John R. and Eleanor (Brothers) Scheid. Joan was retired from the former Hart’s Family Center and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Bachie Sr.; sons, John (Bobby) Bachie, Sammy (Sam) Bachie; granddaughter, Lacey Thompson; and brother, Robert Scheid.
Joan is survived by her son, Ernest (Carol) Bachie Jr., of Bridgeport; brother, John Scheid; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Thursday, February 21, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 22 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wolfhurst, with Father John Mucha serving as celebrant. Interment to follow at Weeks Cemetery, Bridgeport.
