CHARLES “RICK” WILHELM

Charles Richard “Rick” Wilhelm, 70, of Maynard Road, St. Clairsville, passed Wednesday September 4, 2019 at the home he lovingly built for his family in 1976.

He was born April 11, 1949, a son of the late Edward and Jean McDougal Wilhelm.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Becky (Borkoski) Wilhelm, daughter Jaime Choudhury of Cleveland, Ohio, a son Derek Wilhelm of San Diego, CA, , grandson “pappys boy” Deen Choudury, his sister: Linda (Mike) King of St. Clairsville: In-laws: Amy and John Sebring, Randy and Mary Borkoski, lifelong friends: Kurt and Pam Stubbs, Tom and Connie Crothers, avid Steeler fan and Audrey Sebring’s biggest sports fan; numerous nieces and nephews and seven great-nieces and nephews.

Rick was a very active member of Thoburn UMC serving as an usher for 40 years and a member of the Trustees; a member of Carpenters Local #186 and former employee of Graecon Construction; and a proud U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran serving from 1969 to 1970 as a Specialist 4 and radio operator.

Friends will be received Tuesday 2 to 8 p.m. at Thoburn United Methodist Church, 209 East Main Street, St. Clairsville where services will be held Wednesday September 11, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Tom Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville, Ohio. The family is being assisted by Borkoski Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio
