STEPHEN MYERS

Stephen Robert Myers, 41, of Quaker City passed away with his daughter, Lydia Grace Myers, on Thursday, September 19, 2019.

Steve was born in Salem, Ohio, on August 27, 1978 to Dick and Betsy (Allen) Myers.

Steve was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Harbor of Hope Church. He was a 1996 graduate of United Local High School in Hanoverton and a graduate of ITT with Honors. Steve worked as a mechanical draftsman for Basic Systems in Cambridge.

Steve was a talented musician and a diehard Buckeyes and Browns fan. He played the bass guitar for the band Old Northern and had also played for the band Ohm. Steve was the rock of their family. He was a brave and loving father, husband, brother and son.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Melissa (Mowery) Myers; daughter, Madalyn Beth Myers; parents, Dick and Betsy Myers; in-laws, Ray Mowery and Karen Mowery; siblings: Rich (Monica Holmes) Myers, Sam Myers and Jessie (Chris) Myers-Heck; in-laws: Bruce (Megan) Mowery, Anthony Mowery, Megan (Kyle) Hoops, Mark (Kara) Mowery and Ryan (Brenynn Butler) Mowery; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, from 4-8 p.m. at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at noon. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio.
