SHARON VARGO- WILLIAMS
Sharon A. Vargo-Williams, 78, of Jacobsburg, OH, passed away Oct. 1, 2019, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV, supported by her family.
Sharon was born April 4, 1941, in Powhatan Pt., OH, a daughter of the late Jess H. and Elizabeth Duvall Cordery.
She was a member of the Powhatan Church of the Nazarene.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was her first husband, Richard Lee Vargo Sr. in 2005 and her second husband, Richard L. “Dick” Williams in 2018, a daughter, Sherry Ward, three brothers, Donald, Glenn, and Robert Cordery, a grandson, Steven Michael Vargo.
Surviving are her children, Glen (Millie) Vargo of Jacobsburg, OH, Anthony (Sue) Vargo of Keller, TX, Richard (Liz) Vargo Jr. of Pataskala, OH, Dawn (Neil) Stebbins of Sistersville, WV and Mike Vargo of Woodsfield, OH. a brother, Blaine (Mary) Cordery of Powhatan Pt, OH and a sister, Shirley Robson of Woodsfield, OH, 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received Friday from 2-8 p.m. at the Bauknecht- Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 186 Main St., Powhatan Pt., OH, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Nephew Donald J. Cordery officiating.
Interment will follow at Armstrongs Mills Cemetery.
