ELVERA MILLER

She was born February 14, 1922, in Elkins, WV, a daughter of the late Vincent and Teresa (Esposito) Bruni.

A bookkeeper by trade, she worked for the AAA of Washington, DC and Houston, TX, and the Belmont Housing Authority of Martins Ferry, among various other positions.

She was a former member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Selby Club, Catholic Daughters of America and the Catholic Women’s Club, all of Martins Ferry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Merle G. Miller, Jr. and her sister, Sylvia Bruni.

Surviving are her children: Diana (William) Graham of St. Clairsville, OH, Marilyn Miller of Houston, TX, and Teresa “Terri” (Charles) Hutton of Cadiz, OH, grandchildren: Rana (Mitchell) Spurlock, Chad Hutton, Sarah (Janos) Viczian, Michael (Carri) Graham, Jacob Migl, Adrien (Garrett) Dominguez and Aaron (Laura) Graham and nine great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Chaplain Terry Wilcox officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
