PAUL DELANEY SR.

He was born on April 1, 1948, in Wheeling, the son of the late Paul and Ruby Fuller Delaney. He was a member of the Flushing Christian Church and was retired from Hillandale Farms, Flushing. He enjoyed drag racing and was crew chief of Delaney Racing.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were five sisters: Mary Jane, Clarice, Judy, Eileen and Barb; one brother, John.

Surviving are his loving wife, crew member and driver of the Shady Lady, Deborah Groves Delaney; two daughters, Crystal G. (Ben) Sabensky, Ringold, Ga. and Amanda R. Delaney, Wheeling, WV; one son, John P. (Cayla) Delaney, Flushing; four grandchildren: Taylor, Brynne, Jake and Willow.

Friends will be received at Warren Funeral Home, Flushing, Friday, 2-4 and 6-8 where services will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 at noon, with Pastor Robert Merritt officiating. Final disposition will be at the convenience of the family.
