Michael E. Richards, 44, of Bellaire, OH, passed away January 8, 2020, in Crystal River, FL. He was born on September 4, 1975, in Bellaire, OH, to John and Donna Richards.

He loved his family and friends, reading, movies, music, poetry and playing softball. He was always smiling and happy. He worked for Change Health Care.

Michael was a great brother, uncle, friend and co-worker. He was loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Howard and Bernice Kelly and Edgar and Grace Richards; and his brother-in-law, Jerry Lee Helms.

Michael is survived by his sister, Cheryl Helms; and brother, John (April) Richards; nieces and nephews, Kylene (Jimmy) Falkenburg, Jared Helms, John (Crystal Kohler) Richards Jr., Preston Richards and Chandler Richards; great-nieces and nephews, Kaidynce, Chan ning, Kaleb, Chayson, Connor and Matthew; as well as many more extended family and friends.

Private cremation is under the direction of Brown Funeral Home & Crematory in Lecanto, FL.

He will be laid to rest with his family at Davis Cemetery in Bellaire, OH.

A future celebration of life is planned in his hometown of Bellaire, OH.

In Lieu of flowers donations are asked to be sent to the Citrus Co., FL; or Belmont County Ohio Animal Shelters, in his name, where he was a supporter.
