HELEN DYE

Helen C. Dye, 89, of Bellaire, Ohio died Friday, May 15, 2020 at Valley Hospice South’s Liza’s Place.

She was born March 18, 1931 in Bellaire, Ohio daughter of the late George Jacob and Elizabeth Bloch Duke.

Helen was the former housekeeper for St. John’s Catholic Church, a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Dye; daughter, Jane Ann Hollingshead; sister, Violet Gross; and niece, Jenny Beavon.

Surviving are her sons, John (Sharon) Dye of Neffs, Ohio, Jeff (Nancy) Dye of Jacobsburg, Ohio and son-in-law, Randy Hollingshead of Brookside, Ohio. Also three grandchildren, Jonathan (Whitney) Dye of Barton, Ohio, Matthew (Alicia) Devore of Centerville, Ohio, Brandi Hollingshead of Robinson Twp, PA; three great- grandchildren, Quintin, Khloe and Heath Devore; and great-nephew, Jason (Katie) Beavon of Lebanon, Ohio.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 441 37th St., Bellaire, Ohio on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Fr. Daniel Heusel, as Celebrant. Interment in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.
