KEITH SCHRICKEL

Keith H. Schrickel, 68, of Massillon, formerly of Dillonvale, passed away at his home, Monday evening, June 22, 2020. Born February 1, 1952, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son to Howard H. and Annitta J. (Fox) Schrickel, Keith graduated from the former Dillonvale High School with the Class of 1970.

He retired from the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railroad after more than 30 years of service and in his leisure time enjoyed cheering on the OSU Buckeyes, the Boston Celtics and the Dallas Cowboys.

Keith also enjoyed the companionship of his dogs, especially Aiko and Karma. A dear son, brother, uncle and great-uncle, he was Presbyterian by faith, and had attended Dillonvale Presbyterian Church. He cherished his family and the times they spent together, happily doing all he could to be a help to them. His niece and newphews and their children meant the world to him and he took special pride in each of them and their accomplishments.

Predeceased by his father, Howard; Keith is survived by his mother, Annitta, now residing in Dublin, Ohio and sister, Denise (Edward) Maderia, of Grove City, Ohio. Also surviving are his niece, Dr. Leah (Eric) Adkins, also of Grove City and nephews, Justin (Matthew) Maderia, of Fairport Harbor, Ohio and Dr. Aaron (Jessica) Maderia, of Westerville, Ohio; as well as his great-nieces and -nephews, Annabelle, Charlie and Lila Adkins and William, Mason and Genevieve Maderia.
