MARJORIE BRIGGS
Marjorie L. (Grodhaus) Briggs, 93 Shadyside, Ohio, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, May 18, 2020. She was born August 23, 1926, in Cameron, Ohio, to the late Albert and Ethel (Ady) Grodhaus.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert (Red) Briggs, a grandson, Joshua Tweedlie, brothers Charles, Robert, Raymond Grodhaus, sisters Edna Andrecht, Zelda Bennington and Vada Johnson.
Surviving are her children Robert E. Briggs of Shadyside, Mona J. (Greg) Taylor of Adena, Frances D. Minet of Martins Ferry, and one sister, Patricia Chacko of Shadyside. Grandchildren include Violet (Shawn) Smathers, Ryan Briggs, Tessa Jo (Alex) Tweedlie-John, Chad Nixon, Albert (Amy) Minet, and Cassidy Briggs. She was blessed with 5 great grand children.
Marjorie was a member of the Church of Christ in Moundsville, WV. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are entrusted with Schoedinger Worthington Chapel in Worthington, OH. Internment will take place at a later date with private grave side services for the convenience of the familly at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling WV.
